Greetings, book enthusiasts!
Artimorean Art & Media is thrilled to share some exciting news with you! As many of you know, we've recently acquired the defunct Wing Wang Publishing Co. when the Wing Wang Corporation decided to liquidate their archives in late 2022. What started as a straightforward acquisition turned into an unexpected treasure hunt when we discovered that Wing Wang Corp. had quietly amassed a collection of niche publishing houses before their closure. Now that the paperwork has cleared, we are proud to announce over 250 new titles coming under the Artimorean name!
After the archive arrived (by freight truck no less!) it began to dawn on us what we had gotten ourselves into. The realization was bittersweet - on one hand there was a lot more material here than we thought we were getting. To our estimation there are over five hundred unique books here. On the other hand, none of these books have been scanned or made accessible digitally. That means that our team must do the tedious work of scanning, cleaning up, retyping, and reformatting these works one by one.
After opening up over one hundred pallets of dusty books, art prints, and other odds and ends (including a stack of parchment and a box of talismans) we came to realize that Wing Wang Publishing published very few of their own original books. In fact, many of the books they owned were discontinued after purchasing and never printed again. It seems like the owners of the Wing Wang Corporation spent decades simply buying up publishing houses only to shut them down completely and stow away the manuscripts in their archive.
While there were twelve smaller publishing companies in total, we have decided to start by reviving some of the largest and most widely circulated collections:
- Wizard Weed Publishing Co.: Wizard Weed was your portal to realms of fantasy and science fiction, where imagination knows no bounds. They unfortunately had to shutter their business and sell their catalog after a pricing war with a rival publisher caused them to price themselves too low to be profitable. Fortunately, a romance book published shortly before their closure caught the attention of the Wing Wang Corp. due to the fact that the book was based on the life of Ezekiel Whingwhang, son of the founder of the Whingwhang Company (which eventually became the Wing Wang Corporation). Unfortunately, however, after the purchase of the catalog, the book, along with all other books published by Wizard Weed, were discontinued and never printed again.
- Gleefendorf Publishing Co.: Specialists in gardening and art books for over sixty years, Gleefendorf Publishing specialized in bringing the beauty of nature and creativity to your coffee table. After dumping tens of thousands of dollars into an organic farming campaign that was plagued by a major typo, the company went under and was sold to the Wing Wang Corp. for a bargain.
- Black Triangle Publishing: This is the publishing house started by famous tarot reader and soap opera star Belinda Goodwoman, which served as the media outreach arm for the cult of the same name.
- Praxis Press: This anarcho-communist publishing house promoting thought-provoking political discourse was purchased by the Wing Wang Corp. and closed down after a stinging pamphlet about their unethical business practices was discovered by the board of directors.
- Chaos & Gorn Rare Books: Artistic and experimental at its core, Chaos & Gorn only published extremely unusual and "rare" (whatever that means) books. C&G was shut down under mysterious circumstances, after each of the three owners died in a string of bizarre and seemingly unrelated plane crashes.
These out-of-print and lost media books span a spectrum of genres and interests. We're ecstatic to announce that we'll be reintroducing these hidden gems to the world just as soon as our team of artists and designers have finished formatting them.
To kick things off, here's a sneak peek at the first few titles that could potentially grace our shelves:
Wizard Weed was an obscure printing press specializing in narrative works on the topic of the paranormal, the occult, and the plain insane. Not a single work published by Wizard Weed could be considered a normal book. Their obscure style of curation coupled with the bold artistic choices of the authors and artists they chose to promote created something extremely unique. Unfortunately, they may have been a little too unique. Or just ahead of their time. Or just not marketed well. Whatever the case, they fell into obscurity after only publishing forty titles and after a price war with a competing publisher, they eventually went belly up and were sold to the newly established Wing Wang Publishing Company, who republished a few select works from their catalog with middling success before retiring the entire catalog.
"My Soul is on Fire But Also My Eyes Must Be Torn From My Face If I Am To Regain Sanity" by George Whitterflake
A classic Whitterflake tale in the suspense/mystery category. This time, he really gets under our skin with the tale of a man who just can't stop picking at a scab. What first starts as an itch in the back of his head soon leaves him with a bald spot - and before long, he is left with a growing hole in the back of his head. "Night Beast" by Jolene Hadnaut

"Bone Soldiers on the Moon" and "The Great Goatman of Niewar" by Anders Jón
Anders Jón serves up another two-part story. This time, we explore the Great Goatman of Niewar, a goat-herding wizard living voluntarily in a swamp in the 1430s. Meanwhile, his brother, a powerful wizard in his own right, has become a Bone Solder in the Bone Army in the year 2422, who is intent on invading the moon. The Goatman sets out to stop his brother from making the mistake of a lifetime. Read the two books in any order, as they are each from the perspective of one brother.
"Please Don't Let Them Kill Me Again, Mom" by Joel M. Sanderbrook
Sanderbrook spins a convincing tale of twelve teens from a small suburb in Texas who were repeatedly abducted from their bedrooms in the early 1990s. Using personal testimony, photographic evidence, and investigative journalism that can only be done in a small Texas town, Sanderbrook leads us on a thrilling mystery, starting on Halloween night, 1992 and spanning nearly a lifetime.
"Hello, Girls!" by Jacie Clark
Hello, Girls! is the story of a man who can't control himself when it comes to hanging out in the woods naked. Mid-thirties and unmarried, Ned was a loner - mostly because his only hobby was nude forestry - the relaxing pastime of hiking in the nude. But all that changed when he came across an encampment full of beautiful women who seemed to be into the exact same hobby as him. What appeared, at first, to be a lighthearted comedy soon turns dark as Ned realizes he might be in more trouble than he can handle.
"The Warriors of Planet Snorgborg Trilogy" by Stalon J. Nelroy
Stalon J. Nelroy was a master of high planetary fantasy from 1993-1996 before his untimely death while camping in the Sierra Nevada mountains. Fortunately, before he left us all behind, he wrote his magnum opus - The Warriors of Planet Snorgborg Trilogy. This epic adventure follows an interplanetary warrior named Bingus and his struggle against his evil brother, Wingus, who is attempting to overthrow the Dome of Power. Bingus summons the Dome of Protection, and the two brothers enter into deadly combat! Find out who rules over the realm once the dust has settled in this epic trilogy.

"Galloping Toward Forever" by Anella Yort

At first he is confronted with the human cruelty he knows all too well, but soon he is forced to reconcile with facts that do not line up with his beliefs. Gleefendorf Publishing Company was based out of San Francisco, where they focused on gardening, farming, and floral arts. Their original claim to fame was the publishing of the works of Master Kenji Kojima, the famous Ikebana and Bonsai master who held classes down the street from their printing press. They managed some success, until an unfortunate typo led to low sales and even boycotts, eventually leading the owners to seek out a sale. It was then sold to two other publishing companies before ending up in the hands of the Wing Wang Publishing Company, where the entire collection of 22 books was republished under limited runs before being permanently retired.
"The Flower Wars" by J.D. Ensbrook
This book tells the story of a dangerous ikebana school rivalry. The story centers around legendary Ikebana and Bonsai master, Kenji Kojima, and his rivals at the Brevlin School, a dastardly Ikebana school whose headmasters would stop at nothing to end the career of Master Kojima - including multiple assassination attempts, arson, and even buying off the judges and officiants of prominent Ikebana competitions. Feel the heat in this elaborate report by J.D. Ensbrook.
"The Ikebana Master Trilogy" by Kenji Kojima
Written by the master of ikebana and bonsai himself, Master Kenji Kojima reveals all in this trilogy, which represents the culmination of a long life of hard work and artistic expression. Master Kenji lays bare his soul with these three books - one revealing the secrets of bonsai, another waxing philosophical on ikebana, and the third is a philosophical examination of the art of suiseki stones. Master Kenji Kojima is most well-known for his public rivalry with another ikebana school, as well as his multiple televised ikebana competition appearances.
"Tea Farming Techniques" by the Chinese Communist Party
This delightful guide was written to teach the American farmer how to grow tea using traditional Chinese techniques. This book was originally gifted to Gleefendorf Publishing by the Chinese Communist Party in the 1970s in an attempt to reach out to American farmers. Little did they know, tea would not be a profitable crop for Americans. The high cost of labor coupled with the existing competition resulted in many failed tea plantations across the South. Some say that this destabilization was the ultimate goal of the CCP, but the techniques described within are considered the industry standard.
"Organ Farming for Profit" by various authors
At the height of the market, Gleefendorf Publishing attempted to create their own new books in-house, resulting in this massive failure of a book which eventually led to their bankruptcy. Originally slated as, "Organic Farming for Profit", the glaring typographical error on the cover made it difficult to sell the book - of which they had produced hundreds of thousand of copies. Luckily, they were purchased at auction by Wing Wang Corporation and buried in their archives until today! We will be publishing the book in its original form with the typo included.
"Raising Chickens Properly" by W.T. TROUT
Where most chicken raising books only focus on simplicity, this one centers around creating "systems" within your chicken operation that minimize inputs and maximize outputs, especially in terms of value. Learn how to farm your own chicken food, utilize alternative methods of protein production such as maggot and worm farming, utilize mud and rotten log features, and create lush compost as a result. Experienced farmer, W.T. Trout goes into full detail and even includes illustrations and diagrams to make your chicken upgrades as smooth as possible.

Black Triangle Press was the official publishing house for the members of the Black Triangle Cult. Started by Belinda Goodwoman and two associates, Glenn Wanderbrook and Stanley Nightingale. The philosophy started out fairly simple, and the press only published single color pamphlets which were distributed locally. After four years, however, the group had multiplied to become a small village of over two hundred people with multiple tiers of authority. The three founders squabbled amongst themselves for years over what the official cult policy would be, with each appointing a different team of authors and artists to generate new propaganda. For that reason, many of the works of the Black Triangle Press are uncredited and have conflicting messages. After the disbanding of the cult by a court order, the original manuscripts were stolen by Glenn Wanderbrook and sold to a publishing agent at the Wing Wang Publishing Company. They were then added to the growing archive of unpublished books in the Wing Wang warehouses.
"HOW TO TURN THE EVIL EYE AGAINST YOUR OPPONENTS" by Black Triangle Press
One of the first full-length books published by The Black Triangle, this manual for contacting the Evil Eye has been considered dangerous and outlandish. Criticism of the book has ranged from complete disbelief in the existence of the Evil Eye to a complete rejection of the philosophy as a dangerous type of magic. No matter how you feel, this is one of the most formative works on the topic of Evil Eye Manipulation. Readers of the book will be prepared to rain down punishment and terror on their enemies while clearing a path to their ultimate goal of dominating others.
"The Man at the Gates of Shinbolala" by Black Triangle Press
Have you ever wondered what happens when your soul reaches Shinbolala? Wonder no more after reading this short booklet, which is full of poems, prayers, and descriptions of the process of seeking Shinbolala after death. Why is the man at the gates of Shinbolala clad in armor? Why does he wield a sword of pure light? Why does he display his open palms to all who seek him? Find out when you read this manifesto.
"KEYHOLDERS OF THE INNER REALM" by Black Triangle Press
In this book, we learn about the eight maidens who must be slain in order to unlock the truth of the universe and all understanding. Of course, they are not real maidens, and as we read further we can see that the eight maidens are the eight disciplines required to follow the Black Triangle Cult. The uncredited writers and editors of this book really hit the gas pedal with the occult nonsense, making outrageous claim after outrageous claim in the hopes of persuading you, the reader, to join their cult. To summarize, the eight maidens that must be slain are: Hunger, Lust, Curiosity, Power, Vengeance, Control, Idealism, and Humility.
"Soul Magic" by Black Triangle Press
Soul Magic is an exploration of the multitude of "selves" inside each person. According to this book, there are six selves inside of the human body all fighting for dominance. Each of these selves represents a unique psychic element, which, when combined, create the human soul. The difficult part comes in the balancing of each of the six selves, and the eventual "summoning" of certain personalities to suit each magic occasion. While this guide reads as a rather dry and straightforward, the information within is invaluable to anyone wanting to start their own branch of the Black Triangle Cult.
"Sons of Solhar" by Belinda Goodwoman
Sons of Solhar was Belinda Goodwoman's first published book regarding the alternative astrological system to which she subscribes. In this short 60-page read, she elaborates on the importance of Solhar, the massive star at the center of our solar system, the planet hidden within its core, and the two invisible planets whose celestial path intersects with it.
"Roses of Tenebros" by Belinda Goodwoman
In this book, Goodwoman describes in full detail how the void beyond Pluto can have influence over the everyday occurrences in our lives. With the universe in a perfect balance, it is the void who rules over all things. Another point of note about this book: the cover art was created by sci-fi artist David Brecht who briefly joined the Black Triangle for a little over a year before cutting ties and adamantly disavowing the group as a dangerous cult.
"The Mysteries of the Black Triangle" by Black Triangle Press
The manifesto of the Black Triangle Cult exists within these pages. Find out what the Black Triangle Cult intended when they overtook a local police station, forced a television station to air a short clip of their leader, and eventually dug a tunnel underneath a gas station, causing it to collapse. What does the future hold for the Black Triangle Cult? You'll have to read the book to find out.
"Sitting on the Edge of the Sun" by Wynona Flynn
According to notes left by the publisher, Wynona Flynn was an acolyte of Belinda Goodwoman who went on to have her own writing career under a different name. During her time with the Black Triangle Cult, she studied intensely to learn the Shadow Horoscope and Shadow Tarot, an alternate system of magick which was propulgated by the Black Triangle. In this book, Wynona Flynn makes a compelling argument for an astrological system including invisible undiscovered planets as well as the Moon, Earth, and the Void Beyond Pluto.
"Pestilence of the Mind" by Black Triangle Press
This book goes into extremely vivid detail about mind demons, psychic viruses, and brain ghosts, as well as many more psychic phenomena which can contribute to ill health: Astral Parasites, Residual Hauntings, Soul Fragmentation, Aura Contamination, Psychic Overload, Telepathic Interference, Psychic Noise, Dimensional Synching, even common Psychic Attacks! Learn to protect yourself from these psychic illnesses and more!

Chaos & Gorn Rare Books holds an impressive collection of books covering a wide range of topics. These books can't be found elsewhere, hence the reference to rare books in their name. If you can find one of their books in the wild, you're in luck! They hold their value quite well as their original books were printed with a hard cover and a proprietary book protectant which kept the cover art pristine. It was originally owned by two brothers operating out of New York who eventually went on to leave the company to their nephew upon their retirement. This nephew immediately sold it for pennies on the dollar to the Wing Wang Corporation, who made feeble attempts to reprint their catalog before retiring most of the books to the archive. As a result, some of these books haven't seen publication since the 1980s and 90s.
"Ape Men From Outer Space" by D.F. Gallowen
In this fascinating book, D.F. Gallowen asks a unique question - are the Bigfoot sightings in the nearby mountains actually something more than a simple shrieking ape? He postulates that they could be something more - something magical. He proposes that they are actually psychic beings from space, sent here to protect humanity in some way. This edition includes illustrations of the crystals that many report to be embedded in the foreheads of the Bigfoot men from outer space.

"The Night Panther, She Comes" by Belinda Goodwoman

Despite the lack of documentation available, we were able to determine that this small publisher was some sort of anarchist or communist group who published radical and agitational materials. They operated out of the New England area but were able to distribute their materials for free to over thirty states. After a public conflict with the leadership at the Wing Wang Corporation, their catalog and equipment was forcibly purchased through a court order and held for years in the Wing Wang Archives...until today.
"An Introduction to Surplus Value" by Agit Propensa
This extremely easy to read book on economic theory explains how capitalists steal the surplus value created by laborers under a capitalist organization of the world economy. With easy-to-read examples with context, Agit Popensa outlines the glaring contradictions of modern society in a way that even the most indoctrinated bootlicker can understand and put to use.
"Karl Marx Goes to Hell" by Author Unknown
Karl Marx finds himself following in the footsteps of Virgil and Dante as he strolls through the underworld, criticizing every aspect of the worst economic system ever created. Why must the damned labor forever without restitution or relief? Why allocate sins and punishments unevenly - wouldn't a more even distribution of torture be more appropriate? Is all this pain and suffering just a mechanism of control over the souls of the damned? What would happen if they all rose up at once against the demons who guard the realm? Find the answers to these questions and more in this thrilling book.
